Cool Sorption is a Danish company, founded in 1982. It has 20 employees, of which most are in Denmark. The company specialises in designing and supplying Vapour Recovery Units (VRUs) for capturing VOC gases, released during loading of gasoline, crude oil etc.

Cool Sorption has a wide variety of pre-engineered systems and specialized solutions to suit all capacity and for virtually all types of vapours. Cool Sorption’s standardized solutions are economical and can be adapted for specific client requirements if required.

With several VRU installations ranging from very small VRUs and the largest installed VRUs in the world. Most of Cool Sorption’s VRUs are installed onshore, but many are operating offshore floating production facilities and hydrocarbon transportation vessels.

In recent years, Cool Sorption has also branched off into Methanol and other Green Fuel Technologies.

Cool Sorption provides Service and maintenance to existing Installed VRUs through our dedicated and experienced Service team.
